RS-232 and RS-422/485 are very popular network protocols used in industrial automation applications.
Your computer can easily connect to all equipment and devices which support RS-422/485, through the ADAM-4561 USB converter |
| ADAM-4561 supports half-duplex communication which can be installed using just two wires |
| ADAM-4561 has built-in USB cable to connect with PC. Or you can use any standard off-the-shelf USB cable (one end is type A, and the other end is type B) |
| ADAM-4561 does not require additional power supply. It gets power from PC directly. So it is plug-and-play! |
ADAM-4561 can automatically detect the direction of the RS-485 data flow, and change the communication transmission direction accordingly. No additional handshaking signals are needed!
ADAM-4561 support different baud rate settings, up to 115.2 kbps |

1. Protection on Module Itself:
On its RS422/485 communication path, module becomes more robust and stronger by the overvoltage and over-current protection feature, through a dedicate-designed
protection component on the module. Life cycle of ADAM-4561 module can be longer with this feature, significantly reducing maintenance cost!
2. 3000 V Isolation Protection for Back-end System:
Even if a large external voltage is penetrated, as long as it is less than 3000 VDC, only the module itself may be damaged, but the back-end system (such as a computer or controller) will not be damaged with the isolation design

ADAM-4561 can be operated under a temperature range of -10 to 70 ˚C. Even in extremely harsh environments, it still can work.
At the same time, ADAM-4561 provides 10 - 30 VDC power input range to meet different needs from various field applications
